Deleting your ConvoyMeet account
How to delete your account
- Open ConvoyMeet in Telegram (bot @convoymeet_bot, chat menu button).
- Go to: Profile → Account → “Delete account”.
- Confirm the deletion. This cannot be undone; the app closes after deletion.
What is deleted
Deletion is performed on the server immediately after confirmation. The following are deleted: profile and settings; statuses and their coordinates; your SOS signals and responses to SOS; personal messages in both directions; your messages in parking chats and SOS chats; contact requests; blocks; favourite parkings, ratings, free-space reports and amenity information; feedback; reports you have submitted; the sign-in account and sessions.
Photos are removed from storage automatically, with asynchronous clean-up. App data on your device (chat cache, driver names) is also cleared; only your chosen theme is kept.
What may remain
- push notifications already delivered to recipients in Telegram;
- the chat cache on other users’ devices;
- short-lived technical responses of server calls (up to 6 hours);
- providers’ logs and backups until their periods expire;
- other users’ reports about your messages — up to 12 months, with a copy of the message and a pseudonymous hash of your Telegram ID without a link to the deleted profile. The hash is not fully anonymous.
If you open ConvoyMeet again
Previous data is not restored. A new empty account is created only after you complete the first registration screen.
No access to the app
Write to info@convoymeet.com. We may ask for reasonable confirmation that the request comes from the account owner.
